note
the release of this single was put back one week, from 1996-11-18 to 1996-11-25, so the promo exists in two forms: initially a version of the full CD with the non-playing side details on a black background was sent out with no insert but with a sticky-back label on the case bearing the following text :
Jools Holland & Eddi Reader
& the Rhythm & Blues Orchestra
Waiting Game
Taken from the new top forty album Sex & Jazz & Rock & Roll.
Jools and Eddi come together for this cool, moody, sultry blues
number.
Jools will also be touring the UK from November to December
and with masses of television and press exposure Jools profile will be high!

It's moody, it's grown up. So go on, take it to the Playlist
meeting.

Subsequently the release CD itself, with the blue background on the disc, was sent out with a circular ‘PROMO COPY NOT FOR SALE’ label on the front of the case and a rectangular label on the back stating :
Jools Holland and Eddi Reader

I know you've had it once, but it's gone back
to the 25th NOV. We also now have a chart
show exclusive 9/11/96. Any support is good
support. Thanks
