commentary
Eddi’s contribution

big problem ! …
    …as the insert has no individual personnel details for the tracks, it is impossible to be sure about which are supposed to have Eddi on them;

further…
   …according to Eric Gustin, a big Eurythmics fan, who contacted me following a plea on an earlier version of this page, not only are some of the dates given on the album wrong (in particular that of Sweet dreams), but none of the actual tracks come from the tour with which Eddi is known to have been involved, viz. the early legs of the ‘Sweet dreams’ tour in approx. January-April 1983 (and notice that that period ties in nicely with recorded tv appearances on Top of the Pops and The tube);

so…
   …although it sounds as if Eddi is singing on tracks 4, 6 and 7, the backing there is almost certainly by the Croquettes, a three piece group comprising Gill O’Donovan, Suzy O’List, and Maggie Ryder. My advice is don’t get this set for the supposed Eddi content – look for bootlegs of the early 1983 shows! (what?!?? – I didn’t say that did I?).
