commentary
David Hughes’ ‘suburban homesick blues’ style of delivery will not be to everyone’s taste, but his ironic take on 1990’s England, or more specifically Essex, will delight those for whom the phrase ‘folk-poet’ holds no terrors!

David and Eddi duetted in the late 1980s on his song ‘A modest proposal’ which was released as a sort of bonus track on David’s 1995 album Active in the parish.
